El Albergue Bed & Breakfast is only one train stop away from Machu Picchu and the major archeological sights of Ollantaytambo, Pisaq, Chinchero and Moray.
El Albergue is one of the coziest and most romantic bed and breakfasts in all of Peru. With only eight rooms, special detail is given to each and every one, resulting in an elegantly rustic style.
Beautifully simple gardens full of hummingbirds are engulfed by the aroma of fuchsia, passionflower, floripondium, peaches and avocado trees which all adorn the early 20th century hotel. Step outside and catch the train to the spectacular ruins of Machu Picchu, only one hour away. While you are at El Albergue you may spend the days hiking to Inca and Pre-Inca archeological sights, river rafting and mountain biking, and enjoying the beauty and culture of life in the Andes.
